9K Club Privacy Policy: Your Account Stays in Your Browser

Checked against the arena on · written for members in India

Pangolin hugging a padlock for the 9K Club privacy policy

The 9K Club website has no member database. The username you choose, the hashed form of your password, your practice-coin balance, your picks and your results are written into the storage area of the browser you joined with, and they never leave it. The club cannot read them, back them up or restore them.

This policy spells out what is stored and why, what a server does see when a page or image loads, what happens with cookies, the rule for anyone under 18, and the two ways to erase everything. Nothing is restorable afterwards, because nothing is kept on our side.

What Your Browser Stores

The arena uses the browser feature called localStorage, a small store that belongs to one website on one browser. Every entry the club writes starts with a prefix unique to this site, so it never mixes with other websites' data. The table lists each kind of entry, why it exists and how it goes away.

Entries written to your browser by 9K Club
EntryWhat it holds and whyHow to remove it
Member listEvery username created in this browser with its salt and password hash, so the sign-in form can check a password without ever sending it anywhereDelete account removes your entry; clearing site data removes the whole list
SessionWhich member is signed in right now, so the arena opens without asking againSign out removes it; it is also dropped when the account is deleted
WalletYour practice-coin balance, kept per member so each account has its own 9,000 coinsDelete account; or Refill coins to reset it to 9,000 without deleting anything
PicksYour last 200 picks, shown on the My picks tab, including the rounds that count towards your member levelRemove finished picks clears settled ones; Delete account clears all
Results per roomThe last 100 drawn digits for each of the four rooms, shown on the Results and Digit count tabsDelete account; or clear site data
PreferencesThe room and chip size you used last, so the arena reopens where you left itDelete account; or clear site data
Install cardA single flag noting that you closed the add-to-home-screen card, so it does not reappear every visitClear site data (it is not tied to any account)

Nothing in this list identifies you as a person. A username is a nickname of your own choosing, and the sign-up hint asks you not to use your mobile number or full name for exactly this reason. If your browser blocks site data, the arena keeps the same entries in memory for the length of the tab and they vanish when it closes.

How the Password Is Kept

When you join, your device generates a random salt, combines it with the password you typed and runs the result through SHA-256 inside the browser. Only the salt and the resulting hash are stored. At sign-in the same calculation runs again and the two hashes are compared. The password itself is never written to storage, never shown to the club and never transmitted.

This is also why there is no reset: there is no copy anywhere to send you. A forgotten password means joining again under a new username. The sign-in guide explains the rest, including why the form refuses to run on a page that is not loaded over https.

What Reaches a Server

A website still has to be delivered from somewhere. The pages of 9k-club.club are static files served through Cloudflare, and the mascot pictures and banners come from an image host. Like every server on the internet, both record standard connection logs: the IP address a request came from, the page or file asked for, the time, and the browser's user-agent string. Those logs are kept by the providers for their normal operating periods and are used to keep the service running and to block abuse.

The arena itself sends nothing. Picks are placed, digits are drawn and coins are settled entirely on your device, with the random digit coming from the browser's own secure generator. No form on the site posts data to an address, and the sign-in form is deliberately built without a submit target so that nothing can be sent in a URL even if scripts fail. Email you choose to send to contact@9k-club.club is the only information about you the club can ever hold, and it is kept only as long as the conversation needs.

Cookies and Tracking

The website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and loads no advertising or social-media scripts. There is no pixel, no fingerprinting library and no third-party script that follows you to other sites. The only client-side storage is the localStorage list above, which is readable solely by this site in this browser.

Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie during its security checks when it suspects automated traffic; it exists to let a page load, not to profile you. The home-screen guide explains why a web app of this kind never needs the contacts, SMS or overlay permissions that fake apps demand.

Members Under 18

The arena is for adults only. The join form includes an 18+ tick that must be set before an account is created, and the terms make the same rule a condition of membership. Because the club collects no date of birth, ID or phone number, it cannot verify age; it relies on the tick and on adults keeping their devices out of reach.

A parent or guardian who finds an account on a child's phone can remove it with the Delete account button or by clearing site data, as described below.

Deleting Everything

Inside the arena

Sign in, open the arena and tap Delete account. After you confirm, the member entry, wallet, picks, results, preferences and session for that username are removed from the browser. The level you had earned goes with them; the next account starts again at Rookie with a fresh 9,000 coins.

From the browser

Clearing site data for 9k-club.club removes every entry at once, including other usernames made in the same browser and the install-card flag. On Android Chrome this is under Site settings for the page; on iPhone Safari it is under Settings, Safari, Advanced, Website Data. Uninstalling the home-screen shortcut alone does not clear the data, because the shortcut is only a bookmark.

Changes and Contact

If the way the arena stores data changes, this page is updated first and the review date under its heading moves. Material changes, such as any new kind of entry or any new provider in the delivery path, are also noted on the about page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Questions about this policy go to contact@9k-club.club; replies take a few days. Please do not include passwords, PINs or identity documents in your message; nothing here requires them.

Privacy and Safe Play Go Together

Keeping your account on your own device also means nobody can take it from you with a fake “verify your 9K Club account” message. If a page, call or group asks for an OTP, UPI PIN or payment in the club's name, it is not the club; report it to 1930.

The same storage keeps your last 200 picks and your rounds played. Look at those numbers now and then; they are an honest record of how much time the arena is taking.

Every room in the arena is for adults only (18+). The practice coins are free, stay in the arena and are never paid out; the digit that settles a round is drawn only when its timer ends, so no person, chart or channel can see it early. Since 1 May 2026 the 2025 online gaming law has banned money games online across India. Read setting limits in the arena before a long session.
